Allard Unveils Stainless Steel C.H.E.C.K.
October 01, 2007
Allard USA introduces a stainless steel version of the C.H.EC.K.TM (Comfortable HyperExtension Control Knee brace). This new stainless steel version offers increased AP/ML stability and removable condylar pads for closer fit. Long uprights reduce the pressure required on the femur and tibia to control hyperextension. Dual-axis joints allow the four uprights to move independently, from extension to flexion, enabling the orthosis to follow the natural movement of the leg and prevent downward migration. Artificial leather laminated with foam and soft velour creates the suspension system for the frame.
