The changing of seasons brings even more changes to Western Media. With the EDGE Quick Credit program in full swing, we hope that our readers are finding an additional, cost-effective way to obtain continuing education units (CEUs) from the comfort of their homes or offices. We would like to hear from test takers who have received CEUs and advertisers who have offered their courses through EDGE Quick Credit. Was the Online Learning Center (OLC) at www.oandp.org/olc/eqc easy to navigate? Did we surpass your expectations? Do you have any suggestions for us?

I am excited to announce the launch of a new company-Amplitude Media Group (AMG). While The O&P EDGE and all products under The EDGE Media Group umbrella remain focused on the O&P profession and industry, AMG will shift focus to the amputee consumer. I am pleased to announce that veteran EDGE editor Karen Henry is leading the development of AMG editorial projects, the first of which-the Limb Loss Resource Guide-will debut in February 2014 at the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists Annual Meeting & Scientific Symposium. Karen and her team of experienced editors and writers are putting together a comprehensive, practical guide to preparing for, adapting to, and living with limb loss.

Pre-orders are being accepted now at www.amplitudesub.com Karen has played a crucial role in the growth and development of The O&P EDGE and its sister products, and she will continue to mentor The O&P EDGE editorial staff. Editor in Chief responsibilities will be placed in Andrea Spridgen's capable hands. She will work closely with Laura Hochnadel, news editor, and Vicki Clark, associate editor, to continue to bring you current, exciting articles and information relevant to running your practice.

Look for Andrea's first Viewpoint article in the November 2013 issue of The O&P EDGE. She will stay abreast of the changing healthcare arena and its impact on O&P. You can contact Andrea at or 303.255.0843.

We sincerely appreciate your readership.
